Marie Rahn, 1965 in Mülheim an der Ruhr geboren, studierte und lehrte Literaturübersetzen in Düsseldorf. Sie übersetzt seit vielen Jahren Belletristik aus dem Englischen, Französischen und Italienischen. Mit ihrem Mann und zwei Söhnen lebt sie in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
